Acting
A surprisingly high number of actors are Jewish. Jack Black is an example of one. His parents were Jewish (only after his father converted, that is). Paula Abdul (the female judge in American Idol) is also a Jewish along with young rising stars Shia LaBeouf and Daniel Radcliffe. There’s a whole list of them if you would bother Wikipedia-ing them.
Majority of them come from well off families. Well, I don’t think this fact is most surprising, as most of the readers of this come from well families too. But it bugs me to see that there are no famous stars that came from a family that wasn’t somewhat wealthy or successful. There go most of my dreams...*pouts*.
A lot of the famous A-List actors are either born in New York, or Los Angeles. That’s the way it works. The ones who were generally born in New York can also sing, while most of the LA ones can’t. And the ones who WERE born in New York, they went on to college, but then dropped out and moved to LA because Los Angeles is definitely where the industry picks its stars. Another little tid-bit, the more famous actors who weren’t born in either city moved to either city.
And the last strange information I found was that most actors, all the ones I researched anyways, seemed to lead normal lives up until 21-22 years of age, in which they dropped out of their post-secondary education lives and left to New-York or Los Angeles. This is weird to me, because, education programs in North America (probably everywhere else too) run anywhere from 3-4 years for a Bachelors degree, and yet, most actors get through the nitty gritty of school only to drop up when they’re a week away from graduating. That’s simply a waste of 3 or 4 years of your life (assuming they graduate at 18). Maybe that’s how you’re supposed to do it; you’re not supposed to have a degree before becoming famous. I don’t know...
I guess the main reason I fell for this sort of career path is mainly due to fame. I’ve always been attracted to it. Musicians don’t get nearly the amount of recognition as actors, nor’ do lawyers, doctors, or anything else for that matter (unless you’ve invented something that everybody knows, eg. Windows OS). The money factor is pretty good too I guess, making 10-20million a movie if you actually make it to the top. Most actors make 50 000 a year NET. So unless you’re Jewish, from a wealthy family, and plan on dropping out of college at 21-22, you’re MOST LIKELY not going to be an A-List actor.
I’d give the Acting category 6/10 as a career. It’s not the greatest pay, and you really have to be talented to start making money.
I’ll probably write another post talking about the music industry sometime this week. But for any readers other than Kevin, I’ll definitely write another one before tomorrow.
But in the meantime, that’s my two sense on things.
EDIT: Oh, please click the ad's. As I mentioned above, my family isn't exactly 'wealthy', so I would really appreciate helping me get some money. By clicking, you instantly give me 59 cents. Thanks in advanced.

Quickie on life...
The first post is mainly to open eyes, and tell indirect stories. Most of you first readers are probably going to be senior members at different high schools, which is one of the reasons that the first blog is as deep as it is.
The point of my blogging is to give my opinions to people who want to read; opinions about celebrity gossip, music, life, or anything that seems to be right for that day. It will involve some research prior to posting, since I do not want to look like a flaming idiot.
So here goes:
Senior year is coming up, and I haven’t been thinking of my future at all before these past few weeks. I never really thought as money as a concern in my life, until I remembered CALM (Career and Life Management) class last term. It made me realize that the goals I was setting for myself wouldn’t even sustain me for a while. Before this post get’s too deep and boring, I’m telling everybody to buckle down and think about what the hell you all want to do with your lives. Because frankly, the chances of one of us being really successful is second to none. Hell, the chances are almost as close as to the kid who got hit by the airplane when it crash landed.
Anyways, sorry to bore you on that little paragraph, but that’s my two sense on things.
Signing off
Kevin's First Post: yay! :D:D
Well i'm panicking cause well, for one i'm poor, work hasn't exactly yeah ... for awhile. And me being poor means i haven't gone back to school shopping, or purchased a netbook yet.
PS: NETBOOKS ARE AWESOME LITTLE THINGS, rather useful, and good on pricing too.
Anywho, that means i have no new clothes, no new "toys", nothing to start off the year. Haha, till i get paid, oh the joys of being a waiter. I get to suck up to customers and hit on hot chicks, and they usually tip me quite a bit (; .
Also for those of you who realized you don't have word / M$OFFICE on your computers here's a nice alternative:
http://openoffice.org
Awesome ass free office alternative too microsoft office, and can read / write in msoffice formats too if needed. Though i'm using Office o7 at the moment purely for eye candy, though i'm confused as hell as to how to use it half the time hahaha.
Final note of the day:
I love donairs, don't you love donairs, they're blissful, and make your heart stop (sometimes literally), slabs of meat, with sweet sauce oh the joy. Swiss Donair makes some of the best IMO.
Like shit i didn't know you were supposed ot keep the wrapper on, so i ended up eating my monstrous jumbo donair with a fork for part of it hahahaha. Oh man donairs are some of the best food ever.
Kevin OUT!
(note: This was random, expect most my posts to be like this )
