Amazing

This week has been amazing. It's definitely the epiphany my teenage years. I hate how it's going to end by next year.

So I found out what I'm gonna' do with my future - instead of before when I was thinking of what would make me the most money. Get a trade certificate, then go to university. Also take a year off to start a band. That's basically the gist - So I'll be starting school with all you people a year earlier than me (yay!). Anyways - Enough of me. You've already had 2 posts in a row about me, and that's really no fun. :)

Time for...a band review!

Eye Alaska:

This band is SERIOUSLY KICK ASS. I suggest downloading their EP right now - and when you can BUY their actual disc. I really think EP's are meant to be downloaded since they're so small and expensive. These guys are like a mix of The Killers and...Fall Out Boy. The lead singer doesn't have an insane high voice like Martin from Boys Like Girls - or is it really low like Chad from Nickelback. It's like, right in the middle, given it's not as high as Patrick's either (FOB), but it's roughly close to his. The resemblance to The Killers is that they work around cool synth parts - but Eye Alaska works around pretty sweet piano stuff.

The song "I knew you'd never fly" demonstrates the piano in their style greatly. The intro is straight piano, and the fills between vocal lines are piano as well. It's great. The guitars are standard - Straight 8th's - Power chords. And the singing is practically the same as any other generic 'rock' band. What makes the band is the piano. The pianist has some serious skill, and it TOTALLY fits the music. I give them a 4.9/5 - Losing the .1 because without the piano, they're just like another rock band.

Now for BTOW: This week's band of the week IS....The Decemberists! You might've heard some of their stuff, but not enough I'm betting.

Anyways, that's my two sense on things.

Antithesis to things bothering Fosh.

Drama, drama drama it happens. Unfortunately it isn't always the prettiest .
Racism, SORRY FOSH, i'm assuming you're referring to me, but you probably already know
I'm racist to almost anything. *grr fucking asians*, the girls only listen to them half the time because
those "cute" albeit HIGHLY feminine male singers, because frankly half the time i watch a music video
and i end up in a convo like this:

Me: "I'd tap that .. damn!"
Person: "But it's a guy !"
Me: "YOOOO it's a girl LOOK AT THAT"
Person: "No it's a guy .. for sure i know so."
Me: "You just killed my boner. Damn i feel gay now."
Person: "But he's SOOOO CUTE THOUGH"
Me: "No he's a guy ...guys = no cute. They can be DAYUMM SEXY. But not cute. Shut the fuck up now bitch."
Seriously girls, why go after those guys? They're seriously feminine, and i swear they put tampons up their penises so it doesn't leak.
Fucking asians girls. Majority of them annoy me. It's like SARANGHAEYO this or that. And hug each other every day as if they haven't seen each other for weeks or months or years.
It's been a fucking day, get over it, no need to feel each other up like lesbos on a daily basis.

Drama: Well i'm the most overreacting kid ever, i let little issues inflate and inflate, i piss people off like that little things piss me off, i guess these days i'm just over irritated by everything and anything. Ten bucks i'm one of the most irritating, dramatic pieces of shit any of you will ever meet. That's right ten bucks. Enough for me to go buy a donair the size of my leg <3 .

Spoiled Rich Kids: Tell me about it, i live where they all live. Where kids are all like " YOO CHECK OUT MY NEW TWO MILLION DOLLAR HOUSE" , me: "Gotcha, can i egg it ?".
But seriously all in all it gets annoying. Kids and their beemers, Lexus', Mercedes etc. And even the wholebrand whore thing, does it really matter if you're wearing a decent pair of Buffalo / Diesel / Jack&Jones Jeans which are all reasonably priced around 100-150 a pair , or a pair of R&R's/TRUE's, for like what ... easily twice or triple that?
Spend nice on clothes i believe in, but to a degree, not to the degree where you look like a cocky brandwhore piece of shit who doesn't know what to spend their fucking money on.

LALALALALA FUCK YOU ALL!

What's been bugging me...

Man, lately, I really have been ticked off at a few things. So I'll immediately jump this one.

Drama. I often hear and read about drama in people's lives, and they always seem to pin it on the other party. But seriously, is it them? Half of the times all I do is nod and never give my opinion - only because if I did, I'd get a punch or slap in the face, since I'm not agreeing with them. It's almost pathetic actually - If somebody is pissing you off for being them, and it's not really affecting you. JUST LET IT BE. You don't have to like what they're doing, but you don't have to talk crap about them - and then they do the same. Eventually drama happens. It's seems like drama only happens to those people, the people who always smack talk everybody.

Spoiled rich kids. They bug me too. On so-and-so's 18th, they're gonna' get a Lexus. On so-and-so's birthday they're gonna' have mommy and daddy buy them a house. Seriously, learn to live a little. Live life in my shoes, it's not the shittiest, but it isn't anything compared to yours, even remotely. I don't have my own car like you do. I don't live in a house like you do--but I still try harder to do something than you. You sit there, being arrogant, annoying, and you still get money from mom and dad to buy anything you want. And above all this...you dare look down on me. Now that's just low. You have nothing if it weren't for your parents.

Racism. One of my best friends is native. Naturally, since I'm Asian, I cluster around an Asian crowd, because it's just more comfortable. But man. Every time I do, they always make jokes about natives - they generalize about the entire race. Sometimes, they're even more educated than we are. I was on the bus, and I was talking with one. He had 3 degrees. He had an engineering degree, a social worker degree (whatever it's called), and was on his way for another one, I can't remember. Amongst this myriad of education, he was unable to find a job. Why? Because everybody stereotyped him, because of his race. But seriously guys, you don't really need to make fun of them 24/7.

Musical Interests. This part really bugs me. A LOT. I understand that everybody has different types of musical taste, and yeah, maybe some don't like Rock, or some don't like Hip-Hop. I understand that some people give it a chance, and still end up not liking it. That's fine. But it's the people who never gave a genre a chance, and just don't listen to it because of that. OR...here's a kicker...people who only listen to foreign Asian music...JUST BECAUSE IT'S ASIAN. And whats even worse, they download it. They're not even supporting the foreign artist. Half of them don't even understand what they're saying half the time. Seriously, for the people in the second category, suck it up and, honestly, learn to like music. I swear, you guys don't even know what you like, instead you just type in 'Asian music' in Google and download everything you see. And, for you people in the first category, at least give other stuff a chance. I used to be like that, but I opened up, and now I do like hop-hop, trance, all that stuff. Half of the time it isn't bad. Sometimes it is, but that's with all music. Some rock is crap, some classical is crap. It's all part of the music business, some are good, some are bad. So just give it a chance.

And...I think that's it for now. That's my two sense on things.
