Edmonton, Now.

Edmonton is becoming a crime filled city.

Everyday in the news I hear, somebody is getting beat up, or getting robbed, stabbed, killed, shot. Whateverthefuck.

Because of these, I should bring up again capital punishment. Capital punishment should be brought back to Canada in my opinion, and I believe many of you agree.

I mean, what's so bad about the Death Penalty. I can think of TONS of positive effects it would have on society.

1) It rids society of known criminals.

Obviously this would happen because you'd be killing them off. Murder's would be murdered by the state. This is a good thing.

2) It scares pussy criminals.

The weak criminals wouldn't cause crime if they knew they'd get it back somehow. Even if it wasn't through death, torture would be so good. Just don't do anything bad, obviously.

3) It's just.

How can being put in jail after killing families called justice? Locking somebody up for maybe 30 years after killing a lot of people. Do you think they could honestly rehabilitate themselves? And if they could, for what? They'll be traumatized for the rest of their lives. Being rehabilitated means regaining a consciousness, a sense of morale. And by gaining these, they'll know the severity of what they did.

Not all penalties have to be death. If somebody steals something, Canada gives them a slap on the wrist, basically. Theft ranges from 2 years - life.

But discharge is available to all theft crimes without a firearm.

Which means, YOU CAN GO FREE IF YOU PAY THE FUCKING BAIL.

Personally, I believe that if you steal, you should be subject to torture, or amputation of certain body parts used to steal.

Of course, this must be convicted and evidence must prove all these as true. In order for it to become just, it must be 100% correct. If it were wrongfully convicted, then people shouldn't have to die or get put in pain for somebody else's wrong doing.

Murder could only be justified with death. People may say that death sentences is the ultimate denial of human rights. But if somebody kills somebody (which in turn is also the ultimate denial of another's human rights) do they honestly deserve human rights? They'll keep their own rights to deny others'. How is that justified?

Another thing. If drugs were legalized. Then crime rate would probably be less. People wouldn't have to be so secretive about things, and people wouldn't have to die for ratting somebody out, even accidentally.

That's my two sense on things.

This post doesn't deserve a BOTP - it's juts me raging.
